I’ve been reading your stuff for years Bruce. I love it, and it’s always spot on. I’ve learned much of my SEO skills from you and Network Empire. I know they learned a lot about Silo-ing from you! I just googled a 301 redirect and your article came up. I used your solution to do a 301 redirect via FTP on my htaccess file. Problem solved. Mitch: You’re right that we want to make it affordable! And you can sign up without making a commitment, because canceling during the first month means you get your $24.95 back.

For backlink analysis, SEOToolSet doesn’t go as far as Ahrefs, but it does have link reports that pull data from Majestic. You can hook up your own Majestic account if you have one, and get the link reports for no extra charge; if not, the SEOToolSet can provide the integration for an extra $20/mo.

On the upside, SEOToolSet offers the deepest on-page analysis of any SEO tool out there. My favorite feature is that competitive analysis is a streamlined process, saving time because for any keyword query, the toolset quickly identifies and analyzes the top-ranking pages to prescribe what’s “natural” behavior. Also, the Ranking Monitor is super fast, can be scheduled, and gives you lots of flexible reporting options.

What would this be a comparable tool with? Along the same lines as AHREF’s with backlink analysis? It seems like a great tool especially at the price but I’m not sure what makes it different. That being said, SEO tools can get crazy pricey when you start adding it up so I do like that you guys are mindful of price :).

I finally decided to make the switch I been using Ahrefs, majestic and a few other tools my total monthly cost in tools alone is over $500. Is diffidently hard because I been using this tools for years and I don’t want to waste the time leaning something new but I decided I’m giving this tools a try.

Good to know this is available, I’d have absolutely no problem paying for SEO tools if they were reasonably priced. Small business owners don’t have $90/month per tool. Adobe was smart to make a subscription service for their software the SEO industry needs to do the same thing.
