Thanks for your question. Google defines thin content as content that provides no value for a website. Thin content is commonly seen on affiliate ​websites or autogenerated by a content management system.

It’s important to make sure your content is unique, relevant and appropriately optimized for the keywords you want to rank for.

But still, I feel that as an SEO pro a lot can be done to overcome the thin content issue. We can write a more detailed and useful FAQ section, insightful product description, and show the reviews. This will improve sales plus makes the content look great in the eyes of Google.
